When Chloe Natacha’s mother passed away in 2014, a section of the road in Brooklyn was blocked. The streets were flooded with people her mother had impacted throughout her lifetime.

Chloe’s mother was a single parent. She had a business mind, respected people, was a hardworking and selfless woman who raised 26 children who were not her biological children. When she passed, Chloe says that it felt, “Being dropped in a desert without anyone to help.” She had to learn to live without her.

Her mother had a vision to provide education for children. Many years ago, she spotted an isolated and impoverished location in Haiti, which she could not convince the Haitian government to fund. Her father, a carpenter, built it for her. As time passed, the school gave hope to many in Haiti and an avenue to reach for success.

After she passed away, a gentleman phoned Chloe, and asked her whether she was aware that her mother built a school in Haiti. Chloe was curious to find out how he knew about the school. It turned out that he was one of the children who had the opportunity to attend the school. Now that he became a director at a NYC Building Department, he profusely expressed his appreciation for the impact Chloe’s mother had on him.

Though Chloe always excelled in school, she suffered anxiety and depression for many years. Nevertheless, she had a desire to shoot for the stars.

“I didn’t know what I was searching for, but I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur because my mother was an entrepreneur,”Chloe said.

For over 25 years, Chloe was a promoter and event planner. She succeeded at it, just like any other endeavor she embarked on, but did not feel fulfilled. She didn’t have passion for it. Chloe says that, “Passion is something you can do 24/7. There’s not a day that you don’t want to do it.”

Though she was certain that event planning wasn’t going to be her lifelong career, it gave her the skills she would later need to successfully manage an organization. She dealt with different people, understood how to work around each person’s point of view, learned how to budget and organize well.

Since the entrepreneur founded two nonprofit organizations, they have served domestic violence survivors in shelters, and provided educational supplies, Thanksgiving potluck, Christmas toy drive, Mother’s Day event. During this pandemic, they have prepared meals for firefighters, police officers, and over 200 healthcare workers. They also gave over 100 bags to the homeless. “I am not afraid of Corona,” Chloe said. “This is the work that God gave me to do.”

“I am on God’s assignment,” Chloe expressed. Because her organizations have a proven track record of executing goals, many have reached out to partner with her.

“In 2019, I was ordained as a Pastor and launched my Ministry, which has a daily homeless project and officiates weddings as well as funerals,” she said.

Chloe is the CEO and President of Chloe Natacha Ministries and ANS Association. She runs her organizations with her family. One of her daughters is the CFO, and the other COO. One of her nieces is the treasurer, and the other publicist.

Running an NGO with her family has been smooth because they willingly participate. “They love it! They’ll drop anything to make it happen.”Chloe says that in order to work with family, they have to believe in the vision and value.

Since starting ANS Association, she has been managing large conferences that empower men, women, and the youth.

Chloe’s good friend, Carol Elias, says: “[Chloe] started ANS Association in 2015, and continued to make a difference in many lives by encouraging, motivating, and uplifting others. During the pandemic, she started a daily homeless project that provides bags with toiletries and food.”

“Her ministry provides weekly lunch for the first responders to thank them, show appreciation, and uplift them. Her ministry and organization is one of many that are focused on providing support for the community. Her organization is surrounded by professional men and women who strive for greatness. I am a proud supporter of all her work. Chloe is extraordinary and a phenomenal Woman,” Carol added.

The mother of 2 is a candidate for Doctorate in Healthcare Administration, a proud author, and will launch her new book in fall 2020. But none of that compares to the feeling she gets when she sees that her charitable efforts and motivational speeches are putting a smile on others’ faces.

When the going gets tough, Chloe continues to push forward because her mother would want her to accomplish her dreams. Her goal is to continue to motivate women and encourage them to follow their dreams, or start their own business.

Like mother like daughter. As Chloe checks off every goal, she is continuing her mother’s legacy. In 2017, she established and named a nonprofit organization after her mother (The Nicole Aurelien Youth Foundation). Through this organization, she is planning to help the youth stay off the streets by having a building where children can have recreation, workshops, a computer room, and after school program. They will get to travel, have access to mentors, go to the best schools, and learn the importance of giving back.
